Virtual Art Sale Will Feature Original Works of Art Handmade by Local Artists

Saturday, September 12

(Boston) The Boston Arts Festival is going digital! The 18th annual festival will support Boston’s vibrant arts community through an online art sale featuring local painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelry makers, illustrators and more.

The festival will kick off at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 12 as sales open on works by artists from greater Boston. Many of these pieces are one-of-a-kind works that are expected to sell quickly. Art fans from all over the globe will have the chance to browse the collection and the pieces will be shipped directly to customers.

“Obviously, we are disappointed that we will not be able to see everyone in person this year, but we are still excited to share everything that our artists have been working on for the past year,” said Jen Matson, founder of Artists Crossing. “Many artists have been struggling with shows and galleries closed, but we are hopeful the new digital format will allow us to expand our audience and reach art lovers all over the world, as we show off everything that Boston artists have to offer.”

The Boston Arts Festival is still taking submissions for the auction. Interested artists can submit their work at https://thebostonartsfestival.artcall.org/.
