(West Yarmouth) – Comedians Whitney Cummings and Taylor Tomlinson are hitting the road together this Fall for The Codependent Tour. Cummings and Tomlinson will perform live at the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod as part of their first co-headline stand-up tour. The pair take the stage at one of New England’s biggest entertainment complexes Thursday, October 15 at 8:00 PM. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 am at yarmouthdrivein.com

Whitney Cummings is a Los Angeles-based comedian, actor, writer, producer and director. Best known for creating and starring in the NBC series “Whitney,” she also co-created and co-wrote (with Michael Patrick King) the Emmy-nominated CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls.”

Whitney debuted her fourth stand up special, “Can I Touch It?” on Netflix in July 2019. The special featured Whitney’s take on everything, including her signature incisive commentary on gender dynamics and why we should give sex robots a chance.

In November 2019, Whitney launched her own podcast titled “Good For You” which features Whitney sitting down to interview both her friends (including Taylor Tomlinson) and experts from a variety of fields.

Taylor Tomlinson is too funny to be 25. Her perspective possesses a degree of wisdom that’s typically earned with age. “Being in your twenties is like having a virus,” Taylor quips in one of her beloved stand up acts. “You can’t do anything about it. You just have to wait till you get better.”

Taylor’s new Netflix special “Quarter Life Crisis” debuted in February to rave reviews. Performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, CONAN, Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party, and Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup, as well as a top-ten finish in season 9 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, have all endeared Taylor to a national audience. Variety Magazine named her one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch at the Just for Laughs Festival, and she’s a regular on What Just Happened??! with FredSavage.

Featuring three massive high definition LED screens and a stage, the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod has been designed to seamlessly present first-run and legacy family movies, alongside live comedy and music and the return of major league sports including Boston’s own Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. The state-of-the-art screens are more than 40-feet wide and can be viewed even during daylight hours. Operating on the site of the Old Yarmouth Drive-In, the new site is one of the largest entertainment experiences operating in New England during the Covid-19 pandemic.
