Webster, MA – February 11, 2019 – Indian Ranch announced Melissa Etheridge will perform for the first time ever in Webster, MA on Saturday, June 29th for the 2019 Summer Concert Series. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 15th at 10:00 AM; the Insider’s Club Presale will take place Thursday, February 14th at 10:00 AM at www.indianranch.com.
Melissa Etheridge’s career has brought her fifteen Grammy Award nominations and two wins, an Academy Award for “I Need to Wake Up” from the climate change documentary An Inconvenient Truth and has fueled her life’s work as an activist for human rights, LGBTQ issues, breast cancer awareness and alternative medical approaches. Her 14th album, set to release April 12th, 2019, brings her vision and drive to levels of artistry. The songs of The Medicine Show are inspired by acts of kindness, love, resilience and bravery on all levels. “Human Chain,” with its Memphis soul vibe, is of people coming together to help one in need. The album-closing “Last Hello” draws on the incredible strengths and courage shown by the survivors of the Parkland school shootings. Other songs take a look-in-the-mirror stance about overcoming a wide range of challenges and adversities, of rising above with equal measures of love an fortitude.
Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, classic rock and pop bands steps from Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Nestled between pine trees, the amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience.
