Beach Road Weekend Announced Partnership with
Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard
(Vineyard Haven, MV – June 21, 2019) – Beach Road Weekend, a three-day music and media festival headlined by John Fogerty, Phil Lesh & Friends, Dispatch, and Grace Potter, announced a partnership with Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard (ASMV). Created in 2009, ASMV helps more than 150 animals find a home each year. On Saturday, August 10 from 1PM – 3PM, festival attendees will be able to meet animals up for adoption and begin the process of providing the animals a forever home.

Beach Road Weekend will be held at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11. Friday Night features JAWS in Concert performed live by The Cape Symphony. Saturday, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, John Fogerty headlines the festival with and Boston-based, Dispatch, the North Mississippi Allstars, Mason Jennings, and Alejandro Escovedo. The festival closes out on Sunday with the Vineyard favorite, Grace Potter, Phil Lesh & Friends, reggae singer, Matisyahu, funk & jazz band, Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and the Original Wailers.

The shelter was established in 2009 and in 2012 the shelter accepted the generous gift of the Kitty Foote building from the MSCPA and began operation as an independent non-profit.
