BEACH ROAD WEEKEND LAUNCHES GUEST SHUTTLE AND PROVIDES ADDITIONAL PARKING OPTIONS
Guests Will Be Able To Park At Four Locations And Take The Shuttle To The Festival
(Vineyard Haven, MA) Beach Road Weekend is launching the Beach Road Shuttle to help guests enjoy the show without having to find a place to park. Guests will be able to park at any one of four Beach Road parking locations and then hop on the shuttle to the festival. Beach Road Weekend is a three-day music and media festival featuring Phil Lesh, John Fogerty, Grace Potter and more at Veterans Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven, August 9th – 11th.
Beach Road Parking locations include:
- Tisbury School 40 West William Street, Tisbury ($30)
- YMCA/Ice Arena 111R Edgartown Vineyard Haven Rd, Vineyard Haven ($20)
- American Legion 47 Martin Rd, Vineyard Haven ($30)
- Airport Parking Lot 71 Airport Rd, West Tisbury ($15)
All proceeds from parking will benefit the organization that provides the parking.
Guests can also take a complimentary shuttle from the Oak Bluffs Ferry Terminal, the Oak Bluffs PA Club, or the Edgartown School. Although there is no charge, riders are asked to make a donation to Camp Jabberwocky.The shuttles will run every 15 minutes from each location except the Tisbury School shuttle which will run every 30 minutes. The shuttles will run from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM Friday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM Saturday, and 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM.
Beach Road Weekend begins Friday, August 9th as The Cape Symphony takes the stage to perform John Williams’ iconic score to JAWS in sync with the full movie playing on three massive LED screens.
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty headlines the festival on Saturday, along with Dispatch, North Mississippi Allstars, Mason Jennings, and Alejandro Escovedo. The festival closes out on Sunday with Vineyard favorite Grace Potter, Phil Lesh & Friends, reggae singer Matisyahu, funk & jazz band Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and the Original Wailers. The festival will also feature nearly a dozen local acts performing on the MV Stage.
