(Vineyard Haven, MA) Ten-time Grammy Award nominee John Hiatt is joining the already incredible lineup for the 2023 Beach Road Weekend Music Festival presented by The Black Dog. Hiatt will also perform a stand alone show, known as The Beach Road Weekdays, before the festival on August 24 at The Loft in Oak Bluffs, MA. Featuring some of the hottest names in music including Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver, Leon Bridges, Patti Smith, Japanese Breakfast, Alvvays and more, the festival will take place August 25 – 27, 2023 at Veteran’s Memorial Park one block from the ocean on beautiful Martha’s Vineyard. The festival is also announcing the Beach Road Weekend presented by the Black Dog After Shows August 25 and 26 at The Loft. St. Paul and the Broken Bones will wrap up Friday night while Neighbor will close out Saturday. Tickets for those shows are available Friday, June 9 at BeachRoadWeekend.com.
A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. His lyrics and melodies have graced more than 20 studio albums, have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt and scores of others, and have earned him a place in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, a BMI Troubadour award, and a lifetime achievement in songwriting designation from the Americana Music Association. Lineup
Beach Road Weekend presented by The Black Dog will run from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM each day on the Vineyard. Artists perform on side-by-side stages so the music never stops. John Hiatt will join the Friday lineup that includes American soul singer Maggie Rose, folk star Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kevin Morby, Head and the Heart, Caamp, and Hall of Famer Patti Smith. Two-time Grammy winner Bon Iver will headline the festival on Friday night.
Saturday will begin with Massachusetts based Neighbor kicking things off before Twiddle, Cory Wong and St. Paul and the Broken Bones. Sammy Rae and the Friends will be back for 2023 after rain washed out their set in 2022. Saturday will continue with Gary Clark, Dispatch and finally Mumford and Sons will wrap up the day with one of only three announced shows in the US this year.
The final day of the festival will begin with Cape Cod’s Crooked Coast. Gregory Porter, Alvvays, Dinosaur Jr. and Regina Spektor. Japanese Breakfast and Leon Bridges will round out the festival.

This year, fans can select between General Admission, Sandbar, and Beach Club ticket options. All ticket options include incredible views of two massive side by side stages ensuring the music never stops.
