(West Yarmouth) Comedians Andrew Santino & Chris Distefano are heading to the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod for a special night of standup. The pair will perform at one of New England’s largest outdoor entertainment venues on Sunday, October 11 at 7:00 PM. Distefano first burst onto the scene as a standout on MTV’s talking heads franchise Guy Code/Girl Code, with PopSugar naming him the “funniest guy on MTV.” He went on to star in the IFC series Benders and serve as co-host of Netflix’s Ultimate Beastmaster. He also recently starred in and Co-Executive Produced the Sony/CBS pilot Distefano, based on his life and written by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, the creators of How I Met Your Mother. He has appeared on TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and MSG Network’s People Talking Sports, and he has performed stand-up on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman, and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live. Distefano had his own one-hour standup special on Comedy Central in 2019 and is set to film another later this year.
Distefano is a favorite on the standup festival circuit performing at The Moontower Comedy Festival and The Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. He can be heard as a regular guest on many of Sirius XM Radio’s most popular shows, including The Bonfire, Jim Norton and Sam Roberts, and Sway in the Morning.
Santino is the host of his popular podcast Whiskey Ginger and is a frequent guest on the Joe Rogan Experience, seen by tens of millions of people per year. His Showtime hour-long stand up special “Home-Field Advantage” debuted in 2017. His Comedy Central half-hour standup special was released alongside his debut album Say No More on Comedy Central Records. He made his standup debut on Adam Devine’s House Party and since has performed standup on Conan and The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. Santino headlined at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival as well as SXSW and numerous venues across the country.
Featuring three massive high definition LED screens and a stage, the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod has been designed to seamlessly present first-run and legacy family movies, alongside live comedy and music and the return of major league sports including Boston’s own Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. The state-of-the-art screens are more than 40-feet wide and can be viewed even during daylight hours. Operating on the site of the Old Yarmouth Drive-In, the new site is one of the largest entertainment experiences operating in New England during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Tickets for Chris Distefano and Andrew Santino, Sunday, October 11, 7:00PM at the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod go on sale Thursday, August 27, 10:00 AM at yarmouthdrivein.com. Tickets will also be available the night of show at the gate, subject to availability. Each ticket will cover one car with up to four people and range from $70 to $125 depending on where the guest wants to park. Fans with more than four guests in their vehicle can purchase additional tickets (up to three additional guests) for $20 per person.
