Goose Set To Play Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod

Concert Presented as Part of the Drive-On Concert Series

Saturday, September 12, 8:00PM

(West Yarmouth) American Indie-Groove band Goose is heading to the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod. This will be the band’s first performance since cutting its national tour short on March 11. Goose will take the stage live at New England’s largest entertainment venue Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 PM. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 am at yarmouthdrivein.com.

Goose, based in Norwalk, CT, is composed of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keyboards/guitar), Trevor Weeks (bass), and Ben Atkind (drums). Goose’s music is the culmination of a rich history between friends of differing ages and experiences from the same small town in Connecticut, drawn together through a deep love of music and storytelling.

The band returned to the studio in 2019 for the first time since the 2016 debut LP, Moon Cabin, releasing three new singles, “All I Need”, “Time to Flee”, and “Butter Rum”. Mastered by Grammy Award winner, Emily Lazar, the singles exhibit a developed live band showcasing their studio voice. Following breakout performances at Resonance Music & Arts Festival, Domefest, Summer Camp Music Festival and The Peach Music Festival; the Goose is loose.

What is Drive-On? Drive-On is a new way for bands and entertainers to interact with fans. When guests arrive they have their own parking suite waiting for them (with enough room to socially distance from one another). Fans will be able to Drive-On, tune-in, and rock out with their favorite entertainers in a way that wasn’t possible just a few weeks ago.

Featuring three massive high definition LED screens and a stage, the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod has been designed to seamlessly present first-run and legacy family movies, alongside live comedy and music and the return of major league sports including Boston’s own Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. The state-of-the-art screens are more than 40-feet wide and can be viewed even during daylight hours. Operating on the site of the Old Yarmouth Drive-In, the new site is one of the largest entertainment experiences operating in New England during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tickets for Goose, Saturday, September 12, 8:00PM at the Yarmouth Drive-in on Cape Cod go on sale Wednesday, August 19, 10:00 AM at yarmouthdrivein.com. Tickets will also be available the night of show at the gate, subject to availability. Each ticket will cover one car with up to four people and range from $140 to $225 depending on where the guest wants to park. Fans with more than four guests in their vehicle can purchase additional tickets (up to three additional guests) for $25 per person.
