GoPixelYourself Launches New Silent Disco Concert Series at Cambridgeside
Boston Rapper Iyadonna Kicks Off First Performance

(Cambridge, MA) GoPixelYourself, Boston’s only selfie museum, is launching a new silent disco concert series where dozens of guests can rock out without making a noise. Boston Music Award nominated rapper Iyadonna will help launch the new series on Saturday, June 5 at 8:00 PM at GoPixelYourself inside the Cambridgeside mall. Fans will be able to experience all 13 unique rooms inside the museum and see Iyadonna performing live with video wall content while they listen in through wireless silent disco headsets in the high-tech storefront setting. The GoPixelYourself Concert Series will run every other Saturday throughout the summer. Tickets for the Iyadonna show go on sale Monday, May 24 at GoPixelYourself.com.
GoPixelYourself offers a 13-room immersive experience for photo enthusiasts and social media users of all ages. At GoPixelYourself, you can experience and interact with works of art, star in your own action movie, walk the red carpet at a big premier, or join a rock band all in a 13,000 square foot space with 4,000 square feet of ever-changing animated digital video walls. Automated cameras help capture and enhance your experience using augmented reality to put you on a hollywood set or let you deliver your own newscast. During the visit, every guest receives a website link to download photos and videos of their experience.
Born and raised in Roxbury, Iyadonna burst onto the scene in 2009 with the release of Respect. She has been performing for the past decade at some of the biggest clubs from New York to LA. Iyadonna is a Boston Music Awards nominee and shot her latest video for “808 Therapy” inside GoPixelYourself.
GoPixelYourself hours of operation are Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person, $15 for children 10 and under. Children younger than two are free. Purchase tickets at GoPixelYourself.com.
