GRAMMY AWARD-NOMINEE TRACY BONHAM AND BLAKE MORGAN SET TO PLAY CLUB PASSIM APRIL 16TH

(Cambridge, MA – March 12, 2019) Two-time Grammy award-nominee Tracy Bonham and singer/songwriter Blake Morgan will wrap up their US tour at Club Passim. The pair have been touring the country and are ready to bring their mix of Pop and Rock to Harvard Square on April 16th. Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at 8pm.

Bonham, a Boston native and Berklee graduate, has been performing since 1996 when her debut album, The Burdens of Being Upright, achieved Gold Record status, spawning the chart-topping hit “Mother Mother.” A pair of Grammy™ nominations followed, along with an MTV Video Award nomination for the single, which has remained a powerful anthem for the disenfranchised and isolated.

Her latest album, Modern Burdens, made Rolling Stone’s Top 50 albums of 2017, which they describe as “a lovingly penned postcard to Bonham’s past self, and a fascinating look at where she’s at right now.” On this album, Bonham put a new twist on The Burdens of Being Upright which is a a song-by-song rework of the 1996 release.

For this spring tour, Bonham is once again accompanied by accomplished singer-songwriter, friend, and label mate Blake Morgan – each performing solo sets, and together – for an intimate, powerful evening of songs and storytelling. Says Bonham, “Our shows together last year on the east and west coasts were so special, they’ve stayed with me, powerfully so, ever since. Meeting old friends and new after the shows and talking about the music and emotions of the night created some of the most memorable moments I’ve ever had on tour.”
