LOWELL HISPANIC & LATINX FESTIVAL 2026
SET FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26 AT LOWELL HERITAGE STATE PARK
(Lowell, MA – September 2, 2026) The Lowell Hispanic & Latinx Festival 2026 will take place at the Sampas Pavilion at Lowell Heritage State Park along the Merrimack River from Noon-9pm on Saturday, September 26. What began at a neighborhood park in 2022 will now welcome an estimated 15,000 people to this free family-friendly celebration of the dynamic Hispanic and Latinx community in Massachusetts.
A day-long party with live music, cultural performances, and family friendly activities, the festival also features more than 20 food vendors, and dozens of local artisans selling hand-made items such as jewelry, handcrafted soaps, crochet bags, satin floral bouquets and more.
“The Hispanic & Latinx Festival is a vibrant celebration of our community’s rich heritage, creativity, and entrepreneurship,” said Diego Leonardo, Executive Director of the Latinx Community Center for Empowerment (LCCE). “Bringing together local artisans, authentic food creators, and families in this wonderful park allows us to honor our traditions while creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcomed and celebrated.”
“Beyond the food and entertainment, this event serves as a vital launchpad for small businesses, artisan makers, and local entrepreneurs,” continued Leonardo. “By highlighting these incredibly talented vendors, we are directly reinvesting in our local economy and empowering independent business owners.”
Among the musical acts scheduled to perform are Dance Realm; FM Collective; Magnetismo; SambaViva; Grooversity; and Willie Colón y El Grupo Chévere.
The festival is presented by LCCE with support from the Lowell Cultural Council, Revolutionary Valley, Garelick Farms, American Red Cross of Massachusetts, and Middlesex Community College Lowell.
“The Lowell Hispanic & Latinx Festival has grown into an important cultural gathering over the past five years,” exclaimed Brian Bradbury, Executive Director of the Revolutionary Valley Regional Tourism Council. “This has become a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to what this community has to offer, joining programs such as the Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival which has been going on for thirty years, Lowell Folk Festival which turns 40 next year and the Points of Light Cultural Celebration.”

The Latinx Community Center for Empowerment (LCCE) is committed to elevating the socioeconomic status of Latinx communities by creating inclusive pathways to education, access to social services, civic participation, and enriching arts and culture experiences.
