New England Country Mart Expands Delivery Service To Martha’s Vineyard Starting June 3
(Tisbury, MA- May 28, 2021) It’s about to get easier to stock your pantry, fridge, freezer, and coolers – with grocery delivery directly to your island door with New England Country Mart (NECM). This small, family-owned and operated service is expanding to Martha’s Vineyard this Summer 2021. NECM will deliver premium farm fresh groceries from some of the best producers in New England every Thursday from June 3 through Labor Day. NECM was born out of 4th-generation wholesale produce company J.W. Lopes at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, NECM is using connections created through the wholesale business to bring a wide variety of fresh groceries from across New England. From fresh cheeses made right on Martha’s Vineyard to meats butchered and processed in Massachusetts and locally grown beets and greens from Vermont, NECM offers some of the same ingredients that are served in the finest restaurants in the region.
Each delivery from NECM is packed in a refrigerated warehouse before being loaded on a refrigerated truck and transported to your home or any of the yacht clubs located around the island. All NECM groceries arrive in insulated bags safely packed inside sturdy and recyclable NECM boxes.
