Passim Partners with Trustees of the Reservations for
Scenic Songs Series Across Massachusetts
Unique Performances in Stunning Natural Settings Begin May 16th at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA
(Cambridge, MA) Passim is partnering with The Trustees of the Reservations to bring together music and nature for a new summer concert series that will stretch across some of Massachusetts’ most scenic landscapes. Scenic Songs will feature many of the artists who have graced the stage of the legendary music listening room in Harvard Square, pairing intimate acoustic performances with guided outdoor experiences. Tickets and a complete list of Scenic Song Performances are available at thetrustees.org/scenicsongs
Each event will begin with a guided hike through one of the Trustees’ more than 120 properties, followed by a live performance in a beautiful, serene setting. In addition to the Scenic Songs series, the two organizations will also co-present two special concerts at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich, featuring Melissa Ferrick and the group Rosin.
“Passim and The Trustees both believe in creating spaces where people can slow down, connect, and feel part of something larger. Scenic Songs brings those values together by pairing the artists we champion with the landscapes that define this region,” said Passim Executive Director Michael Busack. “It’s a chance to bring the Passim listening‑room spirit outdoors and meet new audiences in places that already hold meaning for them.”
“Scenic Songs has grown into an immersive experience that connects people to the beauty and wonder of the natural world through music,” said Katie Theoharides, President and CEO of The Trustees. “Passim is dedicated to providing music for all, and the Trustees is dedicated to providing access to nature for all, and this exciting partnership marries that impact together in special places across the state.”
