(Burlington, VT) Epilepsy Foundation New England (EFNE)has teamed with Sugarbush Ski Resort and Vermont Adaptive Ski to enable everyone to hit the slopes Sunday, March 2, 2025. EpilepSki Vermont will offer attendees access to discounted lift tickets and affordable, seizure-safe adaptive lessons. The event begins at 8:00 AM. Anyone interested in hitting the slopes can register now at EpilepsyNewEngland.org.
“EpilepSki is the perfect way for to individuals with epilepsy to stay healthy and active during this cold winter,” said David Searles, Epilepsy Foundation New England’s Vice President for Development and Communications. “Sugarbush has been a wonderful partner, and Vermont Adaptive Ski is opening doors to many that would otherwise be unable to experience the thrill of racing down one of New England’s best ski resorts.”
EpilepSki Vermont will offer deeply discounted lift tickets, saving participants $70 per lift ticket. Through an amazing partnership with Vermont Adaptive Ski, participants needing adaptive support will be able to sign up for lessons with scholarships available. These spots are limited to the first 10 that sign up.
Epilepsy Foundation New England will be set up inside Mt. Ellen Base Lodge with games, prizes and resources for individuals with epilepsy.
EpilepSki Vermot will take place at Sugarbush Ski Resort (626 Mt. Ellen Road, Waitsfield, VT 05673) Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 8:00 AM. Registration is open now at EpilepsyNewEngland.org.
