Alisa Amador Set to Perform BRIGHT LIGHT TRAVELERS at Club Passim

(Cambridge, MA – December 11, 2019) Passim announced today that due to popular demand, a third show has been added for singer songwriter Alisa Amador at the historic Harvard Square venue. Amador will now  kick off 2020 with three shows at Club Passim on January 1st,  2nd and 3rd.  With surprise musical guests, Amador will share her original music, poetry, new songs. Calling the show “BRIGHT LIGHT TRAVELERS”, she is dedicating it to “the ones who stumble through life’s winding paths.” Nate D’Angelo will open.

Alisa Amador’s music is a synthesis of the many styles she’s voraciously absorbed: rock, jazz, funk and alternative folk, all wrapped in the spirit of the Latin music she grew up with. With a sound described by Vance Gilbert as, “Shawn Colvin meets Joni Mitchell has lunch with Amy Winehouse meets Suzanne Vega and Diana Krall,” and NPR calls, “a pitch-perfect rendition of my wildest dreams,” her soulful singing, poetically incisive lyrics, and syncopated rhythms, are likely to make you cry, laugh, and dance all within one set.
