PASSIM ANNOUNCES 8TH ANNUAL DOWN HOME UP HERE FESTIVAL

(March 13, 2019 – Cambridge, MA) – Calling all bluegrass and old-time music fans. Club Passim has announced the lineup for the for the 8th Annual Down Home Up Here Festival at the historic Harvard Square music listening room on Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th. From 13-year old Brooklyn banjo prodigy Nora Brown to veteran pickers The Revenants, this year’s festival will feature more than a dozen acts performing over 21 hours of bluegrass and old-time music.

 

The festival, which happens annual on Patriot’s Day Weekend, begins Saturday at 2pm with 10 hours of music with performances by Ruta Beggars, Bill Morris duo, The Riverside, The New Students, Max Wareham & Friends, Heather, Tyler, & Simon, Little Nora Brown, The Royer Family Band, Rowell, FitzPatrick, & Edwards, and Andy Cambria & George Clements.

 

On Sunday, music starts at 4pm with performances by The Revenants, Jes & Jakob, Gin Daisy, Flynn Cohen & Ben Pearce, Spring Hill Rounders, Ethan Setiawan, Ella Jordan, & Korey Brodsky, The Riverside, and Gabe Hirshfeld & Massachusetts.

 

This year’s festival also includes te a special bluegrass edition of Club Passim’s Live Music Brunch featuring Simon Dunson & Korey Brodsky  Sunday morning from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
